| THINGS TO BEWARE OF WHEN PURCHASING A JACK RUSSELL/RUSSELL TERRIER:
BEWARE of breeders who overcharge for their pups~ no pedigree, not imported lines, most dont even have 2 generation pedigree available, So you dont even really know if it truly IS a russell~ our pups have 5 generations of SHORT LEGGED families. Most of these people who call themselves breeders do puppies in QUANTITY, without care about the quality or temperments of the dog. Jack russells are WHITE DOGS with DARK Markings, NOT DARK DOGS (like a Black Lab or Doberman ) with white markings. Jacks ears should fold over, dogs with stand up ears (like a doberman) NOT desired!! "Bulk" breeders raise dogs in a loud, cold barking kennel, which causes the notorious CRAZY OBNOXIOUS UNRULY Jack that only knows how to get any attention from barking. As well, without pedigree, There is no history to be able to go with for temperaments or genetics. We at Irish Hills take great pride that are pups are very reasonably priced, GUARANTEED to have NO genetic defects - have 5 generation pedigree, VET recommended! Our Jacks are KNOWN for being Playful, yet- QUIET & MILD MANNERED. ALL pups are microchipped prior to leaving with an AVID chip. We RAISE our pups in a HOME, This way each & every puppy is handled SEVERAL TIMES a day so we can be confident in selling only the best personalities. I like to have QUALITY pups that make wonderful family pets as well as show dogs. I keep in touch with most who get pups from us all over the USA & Europe, We love to hear how they are doing !
