Donate to the MEMI fund Memi is a Jack Russell born 1/21/08 weighing 2 oz. with a severely deformed hard & soft palate. 4 vets told me to put her down, It would be too much time & energy to keep her alive & She would die anyway. But Memi has a strong desire to live & she herself showed me She is a fighter & she could make it & to Not give up on her. I didn't do her tail or dewclaws, so not to stress her at all. I stayed up with Memi 24 hours a day 7 days a week bottle feeding her hourly, burping her & doing everything in my power to keep her alive & give her the chance to have a normal happy life. She is now 5 months, is always with me to care for her around the clock & weighs 6 lbs. 2 oz. I found a specialist that does cleft palate surgery. They said this is her only defect & her X rays are remarkable, She is in amazing health & She is an EXCELLENT candidate for surgery. This is a very difficult expensive surgery, but Memi’s will to live & her lack of having any other defect makes her outcome from this surgery well over 94%. This surgery will cost $3,000.00 if everything goes exactly as planned & can go up to twice as much as that. Without the surgery, MeMi will die. I am asking everyone if possible PLEASE help Memi & donate to the Memi fund. You can write a check or money order and I can also take any form of payment by PAYPAL online. Any funds left over will be donated to other dogs in life threatening situations in need surgery. Please help us save Memi. She has come all this way just with her will to live and with my love.
